Just to share build, I'm currently using:
azmodan runs with 5nv stack:

And compilation of elite kills with exact same build:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=52knOexoDnU
Video speed is x3.
Build without revenge, burst damage vs elites (berserk insanity + earthquake), ignore pain with leech, leap with defense bonus, cleave with dmg rune as main attack, war cry for resist bonus.
Passives: weapon mastery, ruthless, and one defensive, can swap one offensive into -30s cooldown for wrath/earthquake, preferably with better gear if you feel cooldown is too long.
Stacking 5 nv is quite easy and fast, any melee elites die in 5-10s, ranged AI are worse, as they run away, some combos need to be done traditional way (chasing each individual elite). Last clip shows how luring them into earthquake helps, even if few die, it is already much easier fight afterwards. It is important not to attack them with earthquake because then they run away.
There is huge upgrade potential for this character, barely not enough damage to always 1shot azmodan, but it can be done quite easily with better weapon or stats.
Items are mostly rare with resists, stats, crit and ias. Slots with uniques are just temporary, waiting for better rare (helm, ring).

Stats are~
1700 str, 1100 vit
47k hp
armor 7500 (buffed by enchantress)
1800 health regeneration
1000 all resistance (buffed)
60k dps (unbuffed) (45% crit chance 250% crit bonus, axe 1120dps rare)
That is some sick regen gear, it's almost like having Inspiring Presence from gear!
I'm running almost the same build, but only able to farm 5 stack SB. I also use 2-H but I use siesmic slam instead of leap as I have less overall resist than you and feel a little squishier overall (previously in act 2 I had around 800-900 resist all but only 20k dps, now I have around 600-700 resist all but 38k DPS, I only have 1 IAS item though, they are quite expensive! I boosted my damage with crit% damage)
I'd like to give Azmodan a go, but at this stage I'm having a very hard time passing the area after SB, I feel like either I have been getting retarded champion packs (shielding lickers, invulnerable minion phase beast) and the worst is the double mace fat guys, got one with extra health and jailer, and they hit SO hard even through ignore pain!
OK, between you and Kniffs, I've been inspired to start working on a 2-hand gear set. I think i prefer this approach that actually has some defenses.
I saw some people bringing up the quality of your gear (like that somehow detracts from a successful build), but i really don't see where this is any more expensive than a good set of tank gear. Sure the crit/res/str pieces are expensive, but you can easily drop 25mil on a good sword + shield combo alone for a tanking set too.
Fantastic videos!
Another morbidly overgeared barb.
