I've been 5 stacking diablo a bit lately, so I've fought all the versions of my shadow pretty regularly. I haven't had any problems with shock pulse. I have diamond skin up before she spawns, and start wormholing as soon as she does, don't seem to ever get hit with more than one pulse.
The worst for me is venom hydra, just 'cause I stand in it like an idiot thinking it is mine.
I had some crit gear laying around so I decided "what the heck" and did Diablo with a critical mass build. Here's the video:

Phase 1 and 3 are surprisingly easy. Frost nova stops a lot of his stuff from ever doing anything. Phase 2 I had to run around a bit to wait for cooldowns while dealing with the shadows, but Diablo himself I mostly face tanked.

Nah I was just 5 stacking him with blizz/hydra. I've gotten better at the fight and don't need slow time as a defensive crutch anymore.
good music choice on the video!
Ah ok haha. I noticed from your videos that you don't take a follower with you... is there a reason? I find that the 15% defense (and to a lesser extent, the 3% attack speed) from the Enchantress helps. Also, the +15% damage taken spell for 3 seconds or whatever might be useful too.
Edit: even if they're only alive for 10 seconds at a time haha.

You can't bring a follower to Diablo.
Hmmm, I've never really bothered to check my character screen during the Diablo fight, but Powered Armor on Enchantress generally lasts a long time, and doesn't wear off even when she dies. There's a fair chance having her with you when you enter the arena will allow you to keep the defense buff even after she gets trapped. Something I guess I'll check tomorrow.
[EDIT: Nevermind, Powered Armor definitely wears off quickly into the Diablo fight]
Since the massive difficulty nerf of 1.0.3 I've dropped Blizzard entirely and don't miss it at all even in Act 4. I originally planned to use the Scoundel Multi-Shot Cold Bow trick for snares until I did a run and completely forgot to bring a follower at all. Realized my runs didn't even seem effected by the lack of slow.
For anyone curious, 1.0.3 seems to have heavily nerfed Diablo himself as well. His grab used to drop me to low enough that I couldn't see red in my globe and standing in his exploding fireball was death. Now the grab does roughly 40% health, and I can stand in the exploding fireball with Diamond Skin and not even care. Maybe it's the switch to Prismatic though, since both those moves deal many small hits rapidly. Either way, I used to pay attention heavily during an Inferno Diablo fight and now keeping focus is the biggest danger of the fight.

As far as I can tell nothing at all has changed in the Diablo fight.
