    Help please :(

I been playing diablo fine since the game came out....today i try and log in and the launcher starts to download and i get this message: ERROR: The file "C:\Program Files\DiabloIII\Updates\d3-0-9950-Win-Final.MPQ" appears to be corrupt. You may need to download this file again. How do i go about finding this file? What caused me this headache? Please help :(

You can disable Peer-to-peer. You can also delete the file, it'll re-download it.

    To find the file:
    1. Open My Computer
    2. In the location bar at the top, paste in C:\Program Files\DiabloIII\Updates\
    3. Press ENTER.
    4. You should be in the folder, where you can find the file d3-0-9950-Win-Final.MPQ
    5. Click on the file and delete it.

Why would he disable peer to peer? That's not the issue. The issue is likely hard disk corruption. You should run chkdsk /f on your system.

Not sure if you are still trolling because it seems that's what you are doing in the other Tech threads, but just in case it wasn't clear enough, disabling Peer-To-Peer and deleting the file will get rid of the error message.

Deleting the file will force redownload and get rid of the error message, disabling peer to peer isn't a necessary step. Trolling? I work in IT, I don't do things randomly that aren't part of the fix.
