    To be honest, even thought the points made are all valid, I rofled my way through Hell without breaking any sweat lacking any decent resistances. I would say that physical resistance really makes your live a lot easier, but most other damages affixes can easily be dodged or dealt with, assuming you have a decent amount of hp.

    Im currently running pigmies in Inferno and its here where I found the huge difference in resistance (and once again the physical resistance being the most noteworthy) needed. Yesterday I decided to trash the special which sometimes spawns in the dark cellar and after all the talks on skype with friends about how badass he is, he felt easy. It was more my mind being in a state like WTF IM DOING THIS WOOOOT. I would say, Inferno is where resistances matter. Im around 450-500 on each now, which isnt to special since we have a shout adding 50% as barbarians.

    There is a calculator for gear to determine whether your current piece has a higher EHP or not. Google it, very helpful.

    should be a no brainer imo, almost no mobs do cold damage.
    vs.
    28 all res
    28 poison/(arcane-holy same)/lightning res

    Makes it abit harder, but should be chosen if you already have higher fire res than others.


    Any thoughts? Am i overthinking this? Are they actually equally important? Please give me your input!
