DiabloNut: Update

Sorry for being quiet over the last two weeks but I've had to have a long serious look at all the database sites and see what we're all doing wrong. I've decided on the way I'm going to design DiabloNut towards and today is the first step in that direction.

Keen eyed users will have noticed a change today already. I've been uploading (and fixing) one big core update in the way the site does things. Many things are still missing and/or not displaying correctly. Trust me this is a time thing rather than a "how could he have not seen that!?".

The planner is stuck in the past as I'm totally re-doing it (:o). I took all the feedback from the way the planner works and understand there were many who didn't enjoy it although many who did.

As things are ready I'll announce them, but the general theme here will be a mass cleanup of the pages and navigation. Making it easier to find what you want one section at a time. First up, items. Then affixes.

DiabloNut has always had the most comprehesive data on affixes, I've also had the worst navigation / display method of affixes so not many of you could find it. That's been (nearly) solved and "soon" you'll be getting your hands on it

Yes! A BIG thank you for the new affix pages! That's just the type of info I've been looking for.

Here are a few suggestions:
1. Add footnotes for what each item group (swing, offhand, etc.) includes. Some are very obvious but others may not be.
2. When using the item type filter, include the item groups that contain it as well (show offhand with quiver selected).
3. Add a tab/page that lists affixes from ALL categories for a chosen item, & include a filter option for clvl/ilvl.
4. This one is a biggie & may not be feasible. Add a tab/page for analyzing/rating an existing item. We can enter the values listed on an item & it will show where it falls (as a %) within its possible values.

First I would like to say you have given me a great resource for D3 but have you considered putting a comparison in the hero planner. For example the user (AKA Me) would be able to put what gear I have on one person and have another with the gear I want and see the differences.
