Anyone notice while using inner sanctuary that it will fear monsters for quite a substantial amount of time? This is not listed in the tooltip and it might only be on demons, not certain however.
I have, and its incredibly frustrating.
Clearly they did it so using Inner Sanctuary causes monsters that are inside it to be "pushed out", but the end result is that monsters I was attacking run away beyond my range (even using Deadly Reach) so that the amount of time I can melee them while under the protection of IS is reduced.
Plus elites with ground effects like Plague, Molten and Desecrate can still damage you while you're in IS. Some sanctuary.
As it is right now Inner Sanctuary is mostly a slight delay so you can wait for Serenity to cool down.
This spell is a complete and utter let down if you ask me. If anything, it should ATTRACT monsters to the edge of the "sanctuary" so that you won't have to exit the "sanctuary" to actually fight monsters. Also, the area should be increased. There's no way myself and team mate can comfortably fit in that thing.
haha. The first time i used innersanctuary was in act3 nightmare against those licker type monsters that hit you with their tongues.
I cast it on the floor, and the monsters proceeded to kill me at range...
...I never used it again.
Totally crap skill, whenever I used it on elites it seem to did not work. The area and duration is way to low to be useful. I use blinding light instead.
