    That's not true. First of all, 2H X-bows have significantly higher base dps than bows and 1H X-bows. Secondly, most slots can have crit chance (much like crit damage) and ideally you'll want both anyway.

    The planner does show that you can have up to 100% crit damage on a weapon as an affix. Doesn't matter if its 1h or 2h. Also gloves can get up to 10% crit and 50% crit damage as well. I guess I just hadn't seen any of that yet.

    Higher base attack speed weapons take greater advantage of proc abilities, flat +damage on rings and amulets. Crossbows' advantage is that they're good with cheap gear. 50% crit damage from a passive doesn't scale up as well as 10% chance to crit or a 15% overall dps boost. You can get so much crit damage that 50% can become fairly insignificant.

    Don't forget that you can get up to 100% more on top of that from a radiant star emerald (if you can ever afford one).
