Yipee! My 1st Legendary...Squirt's Neckless!

Hey guys,

Would just like to announce my 1st Legendary! Squirt's Neckless. Just dropped in act 1 NM with my Barb in fields of misery from a goatman. Has IAS 9% mod + socketed which is pretty sweet + 33 life after each kill + Critical hit chance increased 2.5%! Pretty good mods for my Barb! GF is 11% MF is 13%. These could be better since there available up to 15% each but the other mods more than make up for it!

Alas I've been trying last few mins to get a screen shot up put my pc just aint letting me paste the screeny to show you guys! Even my wife who works in I.T. can't get the screeny to post for some reason so you just have to take my word for it.... But happy days!

Just a quick question on the D3 website item database it stats that Squirt's Neckless has +5 random magic propertise but I've only be given 4.... so does socketed count as 2?

Hmm. I know that the socketed affix counts as only one magical property, regardless of the number of sockets on the item. Maybe that +5 magical properties is an unstated +5 maximum... or maybe Blizzard's item database is as crappy as always and it's lying. I'd say either one is just as likely as the other.

IIRC overlapping affixes can spawn on items, so a unique item with +strength as a base mod can roll a +strength affix. This may be why you display less mods than expected.

Or alternatively i may have made the above up.... im sure i read it somewhere but take it with a grain of salt.

I was about to post this too, I'm pretty sure it's true.
