After reading through forums both here and at Blizzard's official site I have to voice my OPINION.
Personally I think that people are getting the false idea that a video game company or any other entity owes them an amazing product for free. People are outraged that a corporation would try and make money. First off that's the whole point of having a corporation or business. They are not a non-profit organization. They are not a charity. They are there to make a profit. No different from AT&T, Ford, McDonald's, or any other business listed in your phone book. So by saying that a company is being greedy for money is like saying that you are being greedy for air or water. This is what drives me crazy about the RMAH. If you don't agree with it, don't use it, it won't affect your life in the slightest if little Joey that lives 800 miles away from you buys an awesome weapon in the AH and you don't.
Second there are the extremely vocal groups of naysayers and negative attitudes that permeate the boards and basically want to bash every detail of a game that others enjoy and want to discuss the positive aspects of. I understand that you don't like the game, you are welcome to that opinion and I hate that you are so dissatisfied, but please kindly move on. Say your piece and then try to find some way to cope with it and move on, it will be better for your help. Blizzard should not change their game or their policies just because you have a certain opinion. The problem with the internet is that it gives everyone the ability to express their opinion and feel that their opinion is vastly superior to everyone else and if that things have to go their way. Look at Mass Effect 3 for example. Lots of people took to the internet to complain about the ending to the point that the company is caving and having to release a patch to alter it. Should they have to do that? No. Name one other industry or product that has to face this kind of abuse. When you go see a movie at a theater do you complain to the manager about the ending if you didn't like it? Or about how bad one actor was and they should have used someone else and you continue to complain until the studio remakes the whole movie just for you?
People deal with this false sense of entitlement and are spoiled. They don't use rational thought and just flame everyone because they react emotionally and without fully developed thoughts or reason. Not to mention that the amount of complaints being thrown about are meaningless. Blizzard made a product, the product was sold to you. You purchased the item and you are using it. It's yours. Either you like it or don't. If you like it great, if you don't then let it effect your future purchases and buy with caution from them in the future, but please stop acting like you are owed something.
And again, this is all just my opinion. It's no better than your opinion, if you agree with it great, if you disagree that's fine too. We just have different builds as it were. But can we all just be a tad bit more civil, a little more realistic in our expectations, and a just a touch more respectful to the people that made the game and to the other posters out there please?
Well **** in my hat and thump it.
I think you just took the words right out of my mouth...

OP == original Poster, no not you I spec fixed it to point it out.
I wouldnt say for free but for US$60 and carrying the name of one the biggest franchises in PC gamming I think people do expect more.Personally I think that people are getting the false idea that a video game company or any other entity owes them an amazing product for free.
Btw noone is stopping anyone from creating positive threads, why dont you make one instead of complaining about other people complaining?
Because every time we make a positive thread, it gets trolled. I'll show you.

Here? I dont think so, maybe in the official forums but that place was always a cesspol.
People don't get video games like D3 for free, they pay $60 for them. They're paying customers. If they don't like the service or game that they've paid for--or if they don't like the way by which a game is being developed, then I believe it's within their moral right to complain.
As for companies being all about the $$$: companies are run by people for people. If companies aren't interested in pleasing, accommodating, or providing some sort of service to people, then hopefully they will go out of business. Nobody but business itself benefits from selfishness, and the idea that money is the most important thing. And as a gamer and consumer, I gain nothing from supporting such businesses. You don't either.
I really dont get what the OP wants to complain about. The funny thing about these kinds of posts, the ones complaining about complaining, its that most of these posters didnt even get to the level/stage of which are making people unhappy about the game. Like someone notes how Act2 inferno is ridiculous, especially for melee classes and how unbalanced it is, then the clueless poster comes and starting giving his uninformed opinions about the subject, and angry btw, because noone can talk badly about the game at this point!
Maybe the poster didnt see how badly tunned the drops are because of the RMAH, is it made for them to win money? Oh certainly, I really dont care about it, they can win all the money in the world but nerfing their own game in favor of the RMAH was a bad idea, if you still didnt get to the point where people started losing interest and its flaws became way more apparent (like Act2 inferno), I am sorry but you are just making uninformed drama = "....sense of entitlement has destroyed video games" aw please, if anything the whole "WAHH WE DIDNT LIKE THE ENDING!" drama in ME3 was an issue of sense of entitlement, the issues of Diablo 3's itemzation and imbalanced difficulty has been objectivelly discussed with proper arguments and an overall agreement of the community.
Many of the players who are still unaware of the game's issues are still on Normal/Nightmare, reach inferno act2 and let the whole "idea" that blizzard has put behind this game to see how flawed it is.
