Hi all. I don't know if we need a topic like this or not. Let the moderators decide. I just want to share my experiences about Act II experience farming, since the wretched mother farm can become very boring, lasts long according to the experience it gives and by the time we hit 60 most of us has already killed the butcher anyway (cuz we can not stay on our arses
I found The road to alcarnus - Liutenant Vachem quest to be superior. To reach this quest you don't really need to face the horrors of Act II. I had to fight 2 champion packs on the way, but since its open terrain, you also has the chance to run away. Once you reach the quest the profit comes. The quest starts right at the gates of the outpost. No random mobs, no champions, no any other obsticles. Just go into the town, speak to the liutenant, then go down to the basement. There will be 8-9 nagas there, kill them, then free the priosners. Outside the nagas will swarm you, kill them and get the 50k xp reward. Repeat.
-It's VERY fast, and I mean it. I usually did it in 1,5 minutes. (if you don't talk to the liutenant after the massacre you just need to change the quest next time you create a game and don't have to change the main quest also).
-It's absolutely fixed. No random mobs, no unpredictable things. Even the XP is fix (since there will be always the same amount of mobs). It gave 69686 XP on lvl58 and gives 67108 xp on lvl59. (so 34 runs from lvl59 to lvl60)
-You actually have to reach that point first, what can be scary to some.
-The nagas will swarm you. I usually popped Ignore Pain when I started to fight the nagas at the basement (so by the time I free the prisoners and the nagas outside come at me it will be usable again). And I popped WotB outside. Spamming revenge like a madman and some aoe CC helps a lot. The nagas hit hard. ~1-1,5k/hit which can be painful it 6-7 hits you at the same time. Be ready to press your panic button if you feel like you are kinda weak (at this situation I advice you to farm wretched mothers instead).
