Hmm... It's quite easy when damage is around 900.
Higher Damage does make it easier, would just like to add that Rhyme (Shael + Eth) in a 2 socket paladin shield is also an excellent choice, it has better blocking, +25 all res, magicfind/goldfind, and the all important cannot be frozen which is almost essential to any melee build.
Okay. In Act 3 atm. Why I hate this act the most is that there is so MANY monsters. I just can't stupidly run to Mephisto. Only solutions is to kill all those things but it will waste life or get better defence with new gear but it will take weeks I suppose. Of course Holy Shield will help. For HS I must level up about 5 levels.
Without teleport it may get a little tough. Just be sure to find 2-3 wps on the way to kurast!
From there, the fun will begin! And farming the Council is very rewarding!

I wouldnt go for spirit as a shield, but it does give a massive bonus to fhr.
Rhyme is better for non-paladins. HS will make ½ of rhyme useless imo.
Id stick to ancients pledge, until you can make a Sanctuary! Check it out!
For a weapon, Id never use spirit for a non caster. It doesnt have enough dmg.
