Thanks for clearing that up.
My biggest annoyance with Sharpshooter right now is that the bonus resets when breaking urns, caskets and such. I hope it's a bug and that they'll fix it.
On the other hand, I noticed that the damaging caltrops never resets Sharpshooter (it can't crit?). This can be used to my advantage in many situations, for example killing the last few snakes with caltrops on Belial, so I am going to phase 2 with 100% crit.
Am I the only one who thinks this may be bugged a little? I seem to still get a lot of consecutive crits. My base crit is only like 15%, but most times, if not all it seems, I get like 3 or 4 crits in a row after Sharpshooter has set to 100%...part of me thinks its bugged and delays the crit% reset for a second or 2...
Personally, I have little need for tactical adv. or vengeance since I don't have too much trouble surviving anyway. Is it worth to stack +crit chance even if you're using sharpshooter?
Yes, Sharpshooter is still good with high base +crit chance. Obviously if your crit chance is REALLY high, then sharpshooter isn't adding very much. If you crit 90% of the time, another 10% of crits would barely be noticeable.
But it's a bonus to your base crit chance, so at whatever level you start, the bonus kicks up from there...so the higher your base, the more often the sharpshooter bonus will trigger.
Yes. Although not necessarily to 100%, but enough to get a crit sequence rolling. Sharpshooter is better than pure crit chance, since crit chance is rolled individually, where Sharpshooter turns EVERYTHING crit for that 1 second window. I've had a set of critical spike traps go off at the same time as a line of critical nether tentacle orbs, and the monsters reacted like they were butter, and I had a blowtorch. Pack of nearly full health champions on Hell difficulty, and they just...went away. This is worded weird, do you mean to say that the more crit chance you have, the less it will take for sharpshooter to get your crit up to 100%?
The higher your base crit chance, the smaller the intervals between sharpshooter zomgwtfpwn sequences.
