Level 56 - Act 2 Hell - My take on Monk balance

Maybe out-statsing it? I spent some time on the AH and upgraded some of my gear to gain some HP and some DPS, and as soon as I did that I noticed a drastic difference. If anything I'm out-leveling since i just hit 57 and am about halfway through Act 2.

The OP has an AoE build which isn't going to cut it in inferno or even act 4 hell. He also has really good gear, probably farming AH stuffs, which isn't the usual. I have about 75% of his stats and I had a few issues with some BS boss mod combinations in the archives.

Do you think if I can manage to keep up with my stats progression that I would still have as much of an issue in Act 4? I do see that things are going to get much harder from here on out, just based on the difference between Acts 1 and 2 in Hell, but I also don't rely on Exploding Palm for the bulk of my damage, my 2 spirit gens seem to do most of the damage that I deal, and Exploding Palm is helpful for distributing damage out onto bigger packs.

With elite/rare packs that have horrible combos for a melee class, like Plagued - Desecrator - Jailer/Waller/Vortex/Frozen, I have been having few issues.

Agreed, he has very good stats for his lvl and the only reason his dps isn't higher is because he isn't able to wear better weapons yet.

So I pretty much facerolled on my keyboard to beat hell with this build. Got myself into Inferno and just to mess around went to the cathedral, LOL. Gonna be changing a LOT of stuff up!
