The Intimidation rune for MoC adds extra mitigation at the cost of damage, for those wanting a tad bit less gear dependence.

There was a build somewhere in these Monk forums of a guy using Tempest Rush runed for +25% speed to barrel through mobs -- using items, Chant of Resonance, and Mantra of Healing/Circular Breathing to get 10 spirit regeneration/second thus maintaining Tempest Rush indefinitely and speeding his way through trash mobs to elite packs and bosses. I don't know if the sacrifice for that much spirit regen is worth it. Seems interesting though.
