Curious to hear the gameplay experience of any barb player in middle, late inferno that have a very high life on hit stat. How much life on hit do you have and how do you feel it perform?
As I understand it the +life is calculated for each opponent hit with an attack and is not penalized in inferno like lifesteal % is. So I am assuming a revenge or cleave for example will multiply the life gained. It sounds really strong in theory. Would you say it is the stat to go for? Possibly sacrificing alot of dps to get it since a weapon with both very high life on hit and dps is incredibly costly to get?
Life on hit resieved different amounts based of what skill you are using. I don't have the numbers for all the skills, but for Frenzy you recieve around 80% of your life on hit per hit, with cleave it's around 30% (and that can up to alot when you are hitting 3+ enemies, but pretty bad vs single target) and Revenge also gives around 30%.
But 80% per hit with Frenzy is pretty crazy, considering how fast you hit with that skill.
