Which one would you prefer? Buy things from Online Site(s) or Get the Stuff(s) Yourself from the Game...
Pros of buying from online site(s):
Get Best Stuff(s) You Need Instantaneous.
Cons of buying from online site(s):
Need to pay $$$.
------------------------------------------------------------
Pros of Getting Thing(s) from game(s)/Trade/MF/Get Free/etc:
Don't need to pay $$$.
Gives a sense of achievement.
Cons of Getting Thing(s) from game(s)/Trade/MF/Give Free/etc:
Can take forever or a hell of a long time to get desired/needed item(s).
Self find for me.
You'll probably find that most people on this site are against buying items online, mostly because of the relationship those sites have with dupes/hacks/other methods that further degenerate the state of D2 on battle.net
95% of the time I'm right, so why worry about the other 2%?

And trading bought items on this site is forbidden aswell.
For obvious reasons, I dont buy any items online. I trade for them ingame.
Cheating in a game, will make you loose interest in the game..
Peace
Find it yourself or find stuff that's tradeable.
This takes time and effort, giving you a goal to focus on for each upgrade, for each slot, for each character. Without small goals like this the game is pointless after one run through.
I am absolutely against supporting sites that sell items for real cash and would not do it (buying or selling). It was made official in D3 though so I suppose that is the way that game will run but as far as D2 is concerned it will never happen for me.
It is pointless, takes away the enjoyment of the game and supports cheaters and cheating.
Either put effort into finding/trading the items that you want or just get by without them. The game can very well be enjoyed without the Imba stuff![]()
Just my 2 cents
For me the whole point of diablo 2 is starting a new sorc getting to hell MFing till I get good drops and make characters based on those drops till I get bored and come back next ladder.
