Because, past normal, I can't spare the precious extra slot that it takes up. I've been sticking to one generator (WotHF), how about you guys and gals?
Yes, FoT/Thunderclap and CW/Concussion or Deadly Reach/Foresight. I would like to try Deadly Reach/Foresight and WotHF/Windforce Flurry.
If you're using more than one generator, have you reached inferno? I don't think I can afford an extra slot, especially since it brings basically nothing.
I haven't gotten too far but yes I'm in inferno.

FoT/Thunderclap is good for mobility which is important to avoid the evil rares/champion abilities
CW/Concussion is damage mitigation while doing damage and generating spirit

This is my current build in Hardcore NM
I've never used more than one. Don't think I ever would unless I was going to use the combo passive.
I too, use 2 spirit generators, usually FoT/Lightning Flash+ Crippling Wave/Concussion or Breaking Wave; not only is it the fastest way (I find) to deal the most amount of damage to mobs and single high health targets without having to change skills and lose Valour stacks,
but also because I find most of the default secondary mouse click skills are useless (save maybe Lashing Tail Kick, but given the Monk's inherent tankiness, there's really no point in CC'ing enemies away from you anyways).
Sometimes though, I would take out one of the two to substitute for Dashing Strike on secondary, just for the tiny bit of extra utility.

FoT/Thunderclap = teleports to target, REALLY handy on fleeing monsters.
CW/Breaking Wave or Tsunami = I can tank a boss or champion for a bit. The slow movement and increased damage taken makes the killing easier for my teammates.
Just FoT/Thunderclap. I do swap that from time to time, but every time I face an elusive opponent who just kites me, I have to swap back and keep that up. Sucks because I'd like to use Hundred Fists, but can't sacrifice a skill slot on it.
I tried using FoT last night and it just felt SOO slow compared to WotHF, I had to go back. Attack speed at 1.61, not the highest but not terrible at lvl52. When I was on, it was right after the servers when back up, so it was kinda laggy or something. We'll see, still experimenting, though I really can't wait for the last rune to unlock for WotHF at 60, sounds awesome.
