    Help understanding modifiers

Question. The + Elemental Damage or + damage in weapons are represented in the DPS?
IE Imagine a 100 DPS weapon. It has a +10 cold damage and a + 10 damage on the modifiers. Is the DPS the total Damage (base damage + Cold damage + Damage modifier) per second, or we need to had the + cold damage and damage modifier to the DPS shown?

The same for armors. Take a chest armor that has 400 Armor and has a modifier that says + 100 Armor. Is it's total armor 400 or 500?

Don't know if i explained myself right if not please tell me so.

    Tx in advance

    Re: Help understanding modifiers

Update: First part (regarding DPS) i already understood how it works.

The second bit (regarding armor) i still can't see an answer to this.
If i have a Chest armor that has 300 armor and has a modifier +100 armor that makes 400 total armor or the 300 already accounts for the +100 armor?

In both cases the totals on top take the mods on the item into account. The chest armour has base armour 300 with 100 bonus to make it 400 total.
