True. You don't need to reset the quest though - just leave the game and resume it, then the bags will be there again and will containt the next text of a multi-part message. The game seems to cycle through the lore books you already found. For example, in Act I you find the Notes of Urik the Seer (Part 1-3). You will always only find 2 of them in one playthrough. If you leave the game and enter the dungeon again, the next time you find the bag it will contain Part 3. You could also just keep on playing till NM. The first bag you'd find in the dungeon in NM would also be Part 3. Every other bag in the same dungeon will then only contain gold.
Indeed. I'm not sure on the exact number, but in the Old Tristram ruins there's something like four to seven lore books that can show up there. So in a world where you don't ever rerun areas, there's the possibility that you'll never see all the lore. That's... just plain wrong.
To be on topic, here's my most recent stat sheet. I don't think I have the most achievement points out of everyone in the community (2,960), but I'd guess I'm in the upper tiers. I could go and spend two million gold to get another twenty points, but that'd wipe out my whole stash.
Achievement Points - 2,960
Elite Kills - 5,797
Gold Collected - 4,651,907
HC lvl - 0
Lifetime Kills - 104,599
Monk - clvl60 & clvl59 - 127h 13m
DH - clvl60 - 57h 41m
Barb - clvl23 - 6h 4m
WD - clvl1 - 0h 0m 18s
I was kinda thinking on that, but I'm almost sure (which is far, far beyond of "sure") I couldn't do it looking for the Fall of Barbarians (entering the first level of the keep, leaving, resuming). I was missing the n.º 4, so maybe it was a dungeon level restriction or something. I will try to find the missing logs just resuming the game, since it will be a lot less painful (I plan to finish the avaliable logs/journals/whatever).
