Ok, so I reached Diablo with my werebear/summoner druid at lvl 27. I just have no ide on how to kill him. My first, very bad attempt, ended in him killing one of my 3 wolfs and my HoW before I could even see him, I summone them up again, only to see 2 of them dead and the third one at half hp, before I could hardly scratch him, ofcourse my mercenary went the same way and I just barealy manged to use a portal myself.
Any ides? I'm playing pure, so not great gear, but still lvl 27 should be high enough to kill him, isn't it? I just need some better tactic I think, so if anyone could help me with that, I would appriciate it.
I got 54% fire resist, but can up it to 63% if I swap out the 10% faster cast rate amulet.

Get some levels until you reach 30. Spend the the statpoints in vitality. Since you use HoW I suppose you are a melee werebear, so get a weapon with LL. Also load up your belt with rejuvs for critical moments and health potions.
Also, get something on with "Magic damage reduced by #" his lightning attack is similar to charged bolt, it is many small bolts doing small damage each that add up to big damage. If you can reduce each bolt by 10 damage then you will be able to live through a blast while meleeing him... as long as you are also leeching some life along the way.
Also, you can forget your summons... start the fight with them but they will be toast pretty quickly each time you summon. You'll need to be able to kill him yourself.
As spaker_man already suggested, don't worry too much about your minions, both summoned ones and your mercenary. While they're excellent for normal mobs, they usually get toasted pretty quickly against act bosses, and certainly the Big D himself. Don't let them dying so fast scare you too much, that won't happen so quickly to you. Just take him on yourself with the tips in mind. I'd definately go for the more FR amulet, if all you will be missing out on is a FCR mod...

When people tell me "plz" just because it's shorter than 'please', I feel perfectly justified to answer 'No' because it's shorter than 'Yes'.
And the Lord said unto Carl: 'Come forth and receive eternal life'. But Carl came fifth and won a toaster.
in a normal game, the bosses tend to be very difficult, because unlike NM and Hell bosses, you havent had a chance to develop your stronger skills. Therefor, big D tends to really dish out the damage.
Forget your summons. One fire nova will destroy them half the time. You can summon them to serve as distractions, but nothing else.
I dont remember much about the druid class, but you should have acces to a life-leech skill, right? Switch from werebear to Werewolf instead. You'll have less damage, but you'll dish it out much faster, plus the lifeleech might keep you alive. If you stand VERY close to Diablo, his hose wont even hit you at all, and you just need to focus on his slow melee (lifeleech negates that) and his fire nova (fire resistance negates that).
Good luck, and let us know how it ended
If you lack dmg try cubing a savage polearm with this recipe: any staff, a light belt, a kris, any diamond. Great for both you and your merc.
The higher lvl you have compared to Diablo, the higher chance you have to hit him. And lesser chance he has to hit you with his melee attack.
And as already mentioned, in nrml difficulty, his lightning attack can be avoided if you stand close enough to him.
Peace
If this is singleplayer I suggest turning up the amount of players and just farm exp and drops till 30+.
