    Link to my channel, putting up new videos everyday of D3 guides and Monk guides.

    www.thehealthygamer.com is my website, it has all of my videos on there organized a little better than my youtube channel, may be easier to find the different Monk builds appropriate for your level on the site.

    Re: Farming Maghda in Act 2 Inferno as a Monk - Video Guide with build.

    i currently have Act 1 Inferno easily on farm status. but the drops are just ridiculous i have not found 1 single upgrade in ~8 jailer - Butcher runs ( with 5 nephalem buffs + 32 mf ). its just frustrating the only way i could possible progress is by grinding more and more and trying to sell with a profit to the ah ;

    but even than i have to wonder ; how the hell would you progress through the game if not for the glitches and exploits which were uncovered in the last weeks ? i mean sure the items i found and sold on the ah were good ; to a degree ; but none of those items would help anyone in Act2 Inferno ; currently its just frustrating.

    i have about 63% mitigation from armor and 728 to all resists ( ~71 % mitigation ) and and 37 k hp. and i cannot kill a single champ pack.
    its ridiculous i die in Fire Chains as if i'd never farmed my 728 Resistance and with my 12 k Dps a fight would take like 5 min of continously pounding the enemy even if it was undisturbed by being killed to death ...

    Magdha on the other is easily soloable. np but its kinda pointless without nephalem buffs.

    just wondering have you been able to solo champs / rars as monk ?

    PS: this is currently the build i use in an desperate attempt to mitigate dmg to a degree with which i would not die in 2 sec in Act 2 (failing)

    For Act 1 i use Fists of Thunder Thunderclap instead of deadly reach ; because it generates more spirt deals pretty much the most dps of all generator and is pretty much the best chasing tool you can have without investing into dashing strike and cyclone. and if you use it clerverly you can avoid firechains and arcane beams which can be pretty handy aswell ...

    The easiest solution?

    Take a friend. Preferably a ranged friend with high DPS. That's what I do here in the video. My DH friend and I hunt for easy elite packs in the deserts, get 5 stacks, then kill Maghda for awesome loot.

    thats about the awnser i expected : monks are just ****ed. no amount reasonable self farmed gear can ever provide you with enough Mitigation to withstand any Elemental Champion ...

    so the only solution is not taking damage by virtue of being able to deal dmg from range .... but thats not good enough for me , thats just ridiculous game design. and now i rely on exploiter and glitcher who build the foundation of the Diablo 3 Economy ; thats just sad...

    edit: besides are you even certain that you contribute to the fight ? i have a good wizard buddy and we played some together ; and we generally agreed that playing together is harder than playing alone.

    generally because the mobs dont split up if you play alone and you can focus your effort better. thats true for me aswell as for my Wizard buddy.

    when i played with him the mobs scattered more easily because the would go for him instead for me. and i could not just kick around mobs without any consideration to my buddys position...

    for all i know your dh buddy is is carrying you ...

    All you have to do is try new things out and see what works. I know I contribute because my DH friend says he dies about 4x more solo then when he plays with me.
