    A few quesitons

    1) Does elemental damage provide any effects? (like cold dmg slow, poison dmg dot, etc) Also, a while back in beta, I remember briefly reading that crits would provide an enhanced effect, did this ever happen, or do effects jut not exist at all?
    2) What levels are the mobs in act I/II/III/IV inferno? How, specifically, does this affect armor/resist reduction? Is there anything else that has inherently reduced effectiveness in Inferno?
    3) Are all bonuses on weapons provided to both weapons if you dual wield? I notice that a weapon with attackspeed% accounts for that in it's listed DPS. If you are dual wielding, does that bonus apply to both, effectively making it superior than a weapon of equal dps with no attack speed? (assuming no other stats either)

    Thanks.

    Re: A few quesitons

    1) Cold damage does snare/slow mobs, proven on both my Monk & my Barb (warning though if skill says its does weapon damage as fire then all damage types are converted to fire, IE no more cold)
    2) Dunno what levels mobs are in each act but armour % reduction for player is armour/(armour+50*monster level) and resist % reduction is resist/(resist+5*monster level). I think the max monster is 65, in which case you need 3250 armour and 325 resist to hit 50% mark compared to 3000 armour & 300 resist for lvl 60 mobs.
3: Stuff on a weapon only effect that weapon if its IAS or damage related. When Duel wielding your new DPS and attack speed can be found via this ((weapon 1 stats +weapon 2 stats)/2)*1.15.

Hmm, this does seem to be the case. I bought an 18.1dps offhand with +5% IAS, and an 18.6dps offhand. Even though the 18.1 with attack speed increased my dps by over a thousand more than the higher damage 18.6, I think that's only because a faster offhand means my actual mainhand attacks more, lol. The attacks/sec remained the same regardless of which I equipped.

edit: What about increased crit damage and life on hit? Do those only apply to the individual weapon as well? The more I find out, the more pointless dual wielding seems, even with the 15% atk speed.

    Re: A few quesitons

    For the mLevels, i think i have heard that Hell Act 4 = 60, Inferno Act 1 = 61, Act 2 = 62, and Act 3-4 = 63. But dont quote me on that.

For the weapon mods, I have experimented on the IAS thing and found out that one weapon's IAS is only for that weapon. But bear in mind that people have reported that 2 different IAS affixes exist. They have very similiar but different wording: "Increases Attack Speed" and "Attack Speed Increased". All kinds of +damage affixes also only affect the weapon they are on. +Stats are ofc global. So +primary stat on one weapon will increase your off hand damage as well.

Character sheet damage stat shows over all average dps including both your weapons.
Character sheet APS changes after every swing, so you can check this out by shift clicking while looking at your char sheet in town.
Things like crit chance and crit damage and leech may be checked with the same method. If we can trust the character sheet, and if they dont change between swings, i think we can assume that they are global.

@koticgood: the more i look at things the more i think that attack speed is king. as such, i really do like dual wielding and cant find any reason to use a 2h, except unless equivalent 1h and 2h have a dps difference of a lot more than 15%.
