I actually found the effect a bit creepy.
Another shot, the effect should be a bit clearer:

On that note, her boss fight was also abit bland.
Was hoping maybe like Spider Queen instead of hiding up and down. At certain hp points could summon 50-100 weak small spidy (fire,posio...) to make the encounter more intriguing. As of now before a boss fight i usually switch out all the AOEs
Hmm, really? She turns invulnerable and summons minions. The spider queen leaves the area and summons minions. Their fights seem fairly similar in that regard.
Not saying they'e not bland, I agree with that.
Yeah the plot is pretty bad, Chris Metzen at his finest
The delivery was good however.
I thought the plot itself was OK but some of the lines/delivery were pretty bad. I don't like the Lords of Hell gloating to me constantly like Saturday morning cartoon villains. I didn't like the way they introduced the Butcher. Maghda has a nice design, but not too much of a personality.
Cyaea had the best delivery imo. Definitely played up her aspect.
I'm not sure why some people don't like what they did with Adria. It's pretty grimdark. Were they hoping she would be good or what?
You mean why she didn't just kill him?
@Bella
Sorry, i didnt phrase myself properly. I was trying to say She was like spider queen in that aspect in and out summon a handful of mobs only.
Which standard boss killing skills enuff dun need AOE skills, will be nice if add a little of Jar of souls situation inbetween the boss fights or there are a few critter spawning points to take out.
I've been pondering this for some days now. And the best way I can come up to describe this story is this:
Some years ago we had a worn down bouncy castle in the park, that was quite nice.
Then they decided a new shiny one was to be built. But in the process of building it they decided it would look better if they paved the whole park with concrete, and then painted a new park on the concrete. The bouncing is great, but only if you have the right socks.
I'm pretty much over it by now (the story), and I think it was just a bad dream. Which reminds me, too bad they never made a sequel to the Matrix, that would've been cool.
Now I just wish one could actually avoid get it thrown in the face all the time.
(Edit grammar)
The story is indeed terrible. I went in expecting hackneyed tripe and WAS STILL DISAPPOINTED.
Haedrig, Shen, the three companions, Cain, and Tyrael were the only decent characters. Cain is still an old man who rambles about stuff. That's all he's ever been, so it's fine. Tyrael is literally one ideal, so he doesn't need personality. Every other character was flat and dull. Kulle did come the closest to being interesting, even to the point that he had a valid complaint about everyone else using you for their own ends. Then he gets killed the instant you resurrect him. And when it turns out he was right, no one even mentions it again. It's like they almost had a notable sub-plot, but someone noticed and it got cut instead.
