My Best Demon Hunter Build Yet?

Hey there people, I'm going to make a nice post about the new build I've been using.
I'm sure it will be viable in hell but maybe not inferno, I would like some people to try it out.
It's a low'ish level friendly build for new players who are new to the franchise like me but please give it a chance and a few tweaks at your level on inferno and let me know how it go's.

    Pro's

    • Balanced DPS/Mobility/Kitting!
    • Good single target DPS and group DPS!
    • Reduced damage - 25%!
    • Fun!

    Con's

    • Not the best DPS
    • Managing resources can be tricky.
    • Not a faceroll build

I hope you enjoy the build and video! Thanks for reading!
PS: Leave a comment if you try this on inferno and how it works out thank you.

I expect shi* for using the Numbing Traps skill but if you keep a Caltrops at your feet at all time's and a creature teleports to you unexpectedly there first bit of damage will be reduced by 25% which could be the difference between life and death, especially on the higher difficulties!

Re: My Best Demon Hunter Build Yet?

Here is the build that I use, I am currently at the end of A3 hell. I prefer hungering arrow over bola shot because I like my arrows to hit the target asap because they can stun the enemy. I use imaple as my secondary attack. I find that in hell you want to pick off one enemy at a time and impale works well for that. You should be able to fire ~two hungering arrows then hit them with 1 impale and stay at full hatred.

For my other skills, I feel that lingering fog is a must for me. I use to to dodge mortar attacks, vortex, jails, freezing, etc. I found that vault had too much of a delay before it triggered for me and I stopped using it in nightmare. Next is preparation, which is very helpful with the battle scars rune to restore health and for those long battle with jailers. My last skill is the bat companion, this one I think that I am going to change to something else because I feel that I generate enough hatred with hungering arrow. Maybe i'll change this one to bola shot or some other skill that doesn't use discipline.

My build is based around dual 1-handed xbows for a fast attack speed and critical hits to deal massive damage.

I used a very similar build like yours throughout normal, but when the enemies got a bit tougher, I felt that survivability was key. The skill numbing traps allows you to get away from your enemy and do more damage when they are slowed (with your skill) but I felt like they didn't slow the enemies enough without giving up to many other skill slots. Which is why I went with lingering fog to escape and fan of knifes to replace the caltrops.
