Still doing blizz/hydra. I've actually dropped force weapon and my spec now looks like this. I'm doing siegebreaker farming and I'm to the point where death is pretty rare (pack of fast tremors or something might get me). My stats (including glass cannon):
40k life
35k damage
400 res all
5k armor
140% MF (before valor)
Dropping force weapon for seeker missile sped up my kill time pretty well, seekers are good for kiting (obviously), but I do take a few more hits because of standing to cast them. All in all I'm pretty happy with it, siegebreaker runs don't feel like such a chore anymore.

I'm actually strugging between two weapons.
My current A3 inferno weapon is a
Wand
845DPS, 1.40%, 396-812 base, 276-590 arcane dmg, 45int, 55vital.
I can purchase one of the two items
Axe 1048.4dps, 585-1028base, 1.30%, 36% wdmg, 277-602dmg.
Spear 1051.1dps, 704-1048,1.20%, 278-516dmg, 44%wdmg
This is to do a3/a4. Both at the cost of 2 million. I'm not too sure what my priority is. Higher base damage or speed by .10. Do I even look at the dmg mods and wdamage%?
Sitting at 32kdmg,40klife, 450resist, 1709 intel.
Mostly self found gear, I'd guess it would run you 10m on the AH total.
13% crit, 83% crit damage, 1576 int
weapon and offhand:
Obviously my weapon could use improvement. It is just something that dropped from a random elite on the way to siegebreaker. My offhand is pretty good, it is from an A2 treasure goblin.
You listed as a % what I think you meant as the speed? In any case the choice depends a bit on your spec. Faster weapons benefit more from off-weapon +damage such as on an offhand, rings, amulet, whatever. On the other hand if your major damage dealing spell is AP limited like celestial orb, slow weapons will allow you to get more bang for your buck out of your AP.
I just reached reached Act 2 Inferno but I probably just got here because my friends are stronger than I am so I just continue to play Act 1. I also got Act 3 chapter 1
Currently I have:
18k damage (23k buffed)
3k armor (5k buffed)
1500 Int
21.5% crit chance
155% crit damage
14K HP
200 Physical Resistance
200 All resistance
I'm using a 745 dps 1hand (1.4 aspd) and a 33-107 dmg source
Can someone tell me how I should gear up in order to progress further?

Well, I'd say you need more... everything, but first and foremost hp. 14k hp with your resists and armor will have you getting one-shot through force armor a lot in a2/3. Farm the butcher to get some upgrades (and stuff to sell so you can buy upgrades).
Your int is reasonable, and so is your 1h. Your offhand could be upgraded to something with triple the damage for 100k or less.
Back again for help:

At the moment I'm doing A1 and clearing things very fast, but I really need to double my HP to use FA effectively in later acts. I'm not sure what to sacrifice though, it always feels like I give up too much when buying gear... Which items are in dire need of replacement, and what should I look for? Budget at the moment is fluctuating between 2-3 million.
All stats are without any skills active, except for passives.
Hey all, been reading the wizard forum for a while and just wanted to put in my two cents regarding inferno. I started with 30k hp but was getting one shotted A LOT. I decided instead of raising my hp even higher and go vit/res route to gear up, i went for armor/res (which is easier to find by the way when you want more than 3 stats in gear because you filter by int + all res + 3rd stat then sort by armor)
i also use prismatic instead of force armor. i like low hp better because regen is more effective, and also potions heal more % wise.
this set up allowed me to get through act 2 pretty well. you still needa kite, but you're not as vulnerable. currently can take 3-5 hits in act 3 depending on monster. melee like little minions of the shaman or skeletons barely do any damage. right now the worst part are the tongue lickers + fireball from flying monsters.
STR: 742
DEX: 68
INT: 1688
VIT: 621
unbuffed:
31k dps - needa upgrade weapon, only 800dps
3780 armor
468 all res, 540 phys res
buffed: (w/ force weapon + prismatic armor)
40k dps
6500 armor
all res 670, physical res 800
25k hp
30% crit chance
138 % crit damage
use arcane kiting build. i know 2 hand is better, but i need the crit from offhand + extra stats
right now my priority is to get a 1000dps weapon, and after that invest some more life regen on top of what i already have to increase survivability. also trying to squeeze into 7000 armor whenever ican.
TIPS:
gearing up is a mental puzzle. dont just always seach high int/ves/res in all gear. spread them out among your pieces.
make sure you know where some stats can go higher for cheaper. example, if you want to raise int, go higher for gloves + helm, its much much more expensive for belt/shoulders/bracers. for crit chance, try to not get it from rings because the max is lower. gloves, onthe other hand, have higher crit chances for cheaper as well as offhand.
always have 12% movement speed boots.
for helm, has socket may just be as good as vit because you can put an amethyst on it.
going armor/res instead of vit/res is a little cheaper in the beginning, but do know that in the long run as you try to reach over 6000armor as well as over 650 res all, to continue upgrading will still be expensive because 60+ res on items as well as + high armor are also pricey.
i know people mentioned they tried the armor/res route and wasnt succesful, but i think they didn't have high enough of each to make prismatic actually do its work. i actually had 7k armor w/ buff once with also higher res as high as 900 physical, and ifelt like i didnt need the extra survivability so i took it down and increased crit instead. i actually like this set up better because i feel like i can semi-tank weaker monsters like skellies + still do awesome damage.
vortex elites arent as scary anymore, as well as mortar. actually i think the worst elites are fast.
because i have much higher survivability, i took out diamond skin and instead had familiar for either more dps or more regen depending on the situation. besides teleport, potion literally becomes my second defensive skill.

I have
600 res
5000 armor
52k life
37k dps (no ias at all)
The problem is, white mobs just outside of the first boss in act 4 one shot me without any chance (thats with force armor and diamond skin). I watched some streams, I leveled DH to 60 to see how ias really works. It seems for me it doesnt make any sense to get resistances/HP for act 4 as you will die after the first mistake anyway. Pure dps is the only way I see or you need to spend billions for the items to get a chance to die from the second hit. Either you burn mobs or die, low dps = you die regardless of hp/res, imo.
