Killed Act 2 boss, but can't get to Act 3. Help?

Hi guys can someone help me?

Yesterday I have killed the Act 2 boss in Nightmare with my Wizard. Then traveled to Act 3 and stopped playing the game.

Today, when I logged in, my character has the Act 2 background in the selection screen and I simply cannot create a game in Act 3, neither can I join a pubic one either.

What could have happened? I even have the Achievements for killing the boss...

Can you speak to the caravan master in the hidden camp? (Act II)

Each quest has suggested levels to be able to que for them, if you do not meet the level requirement, it will not let you que through the public game options. Just gain a level or two and you should be fine.

If you start a new game what quest are you on?
Have you tried speaking to the caravan NPC and clicking the quest dialog to move on?

Thanks, but I can't talk to the caravan guy. He's simply not there. :(

I'll try Carisma's suggestion and gain some levels. I'm only Level 42 (been playing mostly 2-man and not repeating areas) so it might be the cause. Sucks though...!

Have you skipped any quest in Act2? if you have joined a game that is further progressed then you and kill the act boss you have to go back and finish whatever quests that was skipped before you can create games in the next act.

I haven't skipped any quest.

Well, I joined a game and completed the final quests of Act 2 again to gain levels, the game was fun so I stayed until I beat the boss again and started Act 3.

Now I'm Level 45 and it all works fine. Problem gone, but well I fought the boss again, then I'm not sure if it was leveling that fixed it. I think the problem may have been related to my Level. When I create a game now, the level requirement for Act 3 is 44... weird.
