Who plans to do refund before the end of the 1 month amnesty period? And why?
Not saying that I will, simply curious how many players is actually so disillusioned by it to refund it.
I definitely won't, still enjoying every minute of play time!
No idea what the 1 month amnesty period is, but I wouldn't ask for a refund either way. I've played my way to Act 2 inferno and I enjoyed the ride to lvl 60, but just like my experience with World of Warcraft the game went from fun to an absolute bore within seconds of reaching lvl 60, there is no incentive to keep on playing imo.
Overall, I was disappointed because I expected something I could play for years and years, but it was still way more fun to play than most games I've bought in recent years.
Personally (so don't start trolling, it's my opinion), if you've played right through normal, what right do you have to a refund? Just because a person doesn't like it, doesn't mean they should be entitled to their money back. That's what the starter edition is for.
I don't have time to predict the future, I'm far too busy building it.

If someone gets their account hacked and loses everything due to Blizzard's incompetence, that would be valid grounds for this. Personally I won't be returning it. It is what it is. Good graphics, backstory and challenge. Bad decisions in terms of items and skills. The $60 price tag doesn't assure us of a game we want to play for 10 years. It's never going to be D2 and probably nothing ever will be. I try to look at it more as a different sequel to D1, especially since most of the lore and named references come from there anyway.
Agreeing with Kitteh,
plus I won't be refunding. I like the game!

I disliked the beta, then started off with a negative view of the game once I got the full version. I'm starting to understand the mentality of the game which is significantly different of D2 in many ways. But its a good game, loot feels more valuable in D3 than D2 to me so I'm not going to ever want to refund the game I just wish the servers were better.
Well, people kept saying that Beta content isn't representative of the whole game, and so is normal difficulty. So what if the game becomes unbareable after normal difficulty?
Also, here's an example. Say, that I've bought an electric guitar. I can play it for about 2 weeks (amount of time may vary), and if i don't like it i can still get a refund. Mind you that a used electric guitar bears marks of use - like dirty strings, sweat on the finish or fingerboard and dust - and when you refund a copy of D3 you just have your key deleted and access to account revoked - it's in pristine condition.
So why you can return an item which shows more marks of use, yet you can't return an item (d3) which will be just deleted and new key will be generated?
Also, refusing a refund when the product is clearly broken in some cases (lag, hacking, error's, bugs) seems kinda illegal to me. Kinda goes against customer protection. But my knowledge of Law is limited, so if someone could extrapolate on this, it would be welcome.
I really think that for the most part, if you want a refund on a game after 1 week of play, that's super douchy of you. Especially to the people that have been lurking on these forums and anticipating the game for years--to quickly abandon the game because of something like launch lag or being hacked--is so ridiculously stupid to me. The things that are broken will be fixed by Blizzard.
I couldn't even fathom returning the game, not after putting all that energy into following it for 4 years.
I do not find playing with 350+/- ms enjoyable at all. What happen with SP being lag free no matter ms...
