yup i used almost identical build (even without spirit) but inferno unfortunately smacks you in face and shows where you belong :xfinished act 1 hell at lvl 56 (after farming some levels from 50)... now i just killed magda in act 2, still playing with dual wield, and a quite offensive build.

And gooooooooooooooooooobliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii iiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn
Made it into Hell finally, level 51, 24k Life, 3k armor, 2300damage. Mobs hit like Mack trucks, need to work on a few levels and better gear.
Current build: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculato...XTk!YXU!aaabaa
Rolling up Monk again. Currently in A2 NM, gotta love Inferno gems for making earlier difficulties easier. That being said I found this asking around on the theorycrafting section:

So Thunderclap's effect procs LoH. . . Seems to be the ideal main attack? When I hit inferno I'll start testing survivability between Thunderclap's LoH madness and Deadly Reach's Keen Eye armor boost.
Hardcore Monk Act 2 Inferno. Stats are 1020 all res with time of need, 5k armor, 32k hp, 9k dps (weap really needs upgrading)
I kind of wish they didn't nerf life after each kill. I know wizards and such were abusing it with hydras to get a 3x proc, but as a monk I was actually using it as a replacement to the transcendence passive, by utilizing the cheap[ cost of mystic ally to abuse the heal mechanic. A 25 spirit 2k+ heal is really really cheap, and and everyone knows that your spirit bulb is like 9k ish extra hp with transcendence only. You can boost that to almost 2x as much with a 2k+ life after each kill mod on either amulets/weaps etc. Alas this was not meant to be as of patch 1.03. I kind of enjoyed having near death experience/seize the initiative/one with everything as my passives but now I am going back to transcendence. I use mantra of healing with time of need because you cant really face tank, you have to kite and the life per second is actually pretty good especially stacked with other LPS gear. Mantra of evasion is also similar EHP, however like I said there is no LPS on it and if you have no LPS kiting is obviously a bit less effective. I also want to mention that even though there is that great effective hp calculator in the theorycrafting forum, vitality seems to be one of the biggest factors in effective hp, however as we all know monks heals are static. We get better returns by leaving our vitality lower and upping our TOTAL damage mitigation through high resists, dodge, armor, and melee/range damage reduction mods. The effective HP calc is great though for barbs as vitality double dips with their armor, and scales with their abilities. Obviously at the moment, I am prioritizing all res/single res/dex/armor/vitality in that order, with vit as lowest priority unless a lot of my armor pieces have no vit, then i try to get a really high vit piece to carry the rest of the all res/single res pieces. It also seems to be cheaper to do it this way as a lot of people tend to put stuff with vit/all res/single res for millions on the HC AH but the stuff with stacked res and no vit go for much much less and all vit with no res etc is also the same way. Try to get IAS in slots that you can without sacrificing too much survivability even with the nerfs. IAS really helps in a FOT or Deadly reach build as that third strike on deadly is painfully slow.
Punching my way through Hell, just passed through Magda.
Level 54: 3.5k dps (buffed), 4100 armor (enchantress buffed), 360 resist all, 279 LoH (mantra buffed), 17k health.
I am running this very, very aggressively cause I want to get back to lvl 60/inferno asap.
Been running various runes for this skillset the entire way here.

Yes thats the LoH rune on Mantra of Healing, that being said, I really truly miss the old version of that skill, 15% max life shields to everyone was pimpin.
a bit stuck on inferno act1, just finished hell.
Level 60(unbuffed):
9,7k dps,
414res all
4k armor
31k hp
I fell that it is a bit low to run inferno, no idea where to farm gold/items to get some more resists etc atm.
does someone have some suggestions? would really appreciate, or maybe it is enough to slowly progress act1?
the HP you have with 400 res might not work out well, HOWEVER, you may be able to progress a bit.
I have -heard- it is possible with gold find gear to make 500k an hour in nightmare a3. No idea if this is true or not.
With the NV changes and the loot drop changes, a3/4 hell may be viable to run through if they are no challenge to you. they got a what 8% chance to drop ilvl 61 items? that is not terrible at all.
Hell Act 1, I would strongly recommend leveling to 53 prior to progressing past Haedrig, heading for the cemetery. The extra level makes a huge difference in the damage received from the zombies.
so my new my i am seeing how far i can get with just gear. no skills except the original fist of fury from the start. also no passives.
hmm no rune on it even? I have been tempted to try using just the stuff from level 8 down, but I still need to get someone to 60 first before I start doing sport characters
