Giant Toad only attacks one monster, correct ?

that's what it looks like to me
I cast him in the middle of a pack, he seems to swallow one monster, digests him and then despawns

he was kinda fun in the beginning of Act 3 when he snared the flying monsters straight out of mid flight, but now, I'm not really seeing the point of him

Yes, I haven't been able to chain them with the reduced cooldown from Grave Injustice, either. It seems as soon as you summon the new one, the old one will die and it will let go of its enemy.

Does that even work though? I tried doing that when I first got him and he only seemed to swallow normal monsters, and he can't swallow something that is bigger than him.

Yes it does only swallow normal monsters which makes it almost totally pointless to use it.

As I thought. I really wish Giant Toad was usable but there are just so many other spells that basically do the same thing but better... which can be said for a lot of skills/runes in this game actually.
