The way I understood it is as follows:
Unruned: 10% increased damage
Force: 15% increased damage
Venom: 5% weapon damage per second over 3 seconds
This seems to make Venom interesting for Blizzard, Hydra, Meteor and Electrocute. Basically, anything with low, quick and repeating ticks, as increasing those by a flat amount really makes a big difference versus %.
edit: For instance, Blizzard ticks for 35%. Adding 5% to that is a 14.xxx% increase, barely lower than Force, but you'll benefit from two extra ticks.
Nevermind; it works. O.K., I guess Paralysis either gets a lower proc rate on LHydra or is the exception.

actually venom weapon allows you to proc a LOT critical mass , and thats obvious great thing .
And venom hydra only stacking poison twice is already way ahead of anything else , go figure a couple more times 3 4 5 . Yes they need to stand same play but still its not so hard in narrow places with slow stun snares , or even run around it , there is no match for venom hydra .
Venom Weapon DoT can crit? You sure?
Also, Venom Hydra cannot crit. That's another disadvantage. I agree that it is probably overall the best, but not by an unarguable margin. The real issue is that Mammoth/Cold hydras are weak imo. Lightning is fine, it's probably the PvP rune anyway.
Someone know if Magic Weapon actually buffs all of your spells damage? Because it's not so obvious...
