Hmm, so their database is not up to date. Makes me wonder if they made any changes to other legendary items after all these complaints about them being too weak.

I think the socket may be one of the additional random properties.

only legendary so far is a Crystal Fist (poor one, at that) - found it on my monk, but the equipped blues were actually better.

I've had two legendary items drop so far on my demon hunter. Only just managed to finish Normal difficulty.
a lvl 10 monk hat
and a more useful hat that I'm currently using.

That with a whopping 15% mf is not too shabby. Really having a blast with this game; once I achieved multishot the old D2 feeling from the amazon came rushing back.

That is so not fair, I'm got a lvl 52 Monk (hell act 1) and a lvl 38 barb (nightmare act 2) runnning around w/~60mf the entire game and have yet to see a legendary or a set item. :( And the best amulet I've found is still only a lvl 15 socket, IAS, +3-6 damage. How come I never get good drops?
