I was just wondering, is there an up to date list of skills that are affected by attack speed (and how)? Personally I'm playing a witch doctor and I have a feeling that the in-game damage numbers aren't very accurate when it comes to attack speed. For example, if I'm using a ring with 2-4 damage on it, it shows that I get roughly a 15dps increased, where as if I use a 6% ias ring it shows a 2-3dps increase. The thing is, that the difference seems much more significant than that and more in favor of attack speed.
I'm playing hc with a build without summons. The damage spells I'm using are poison dart (splinters), grasp of the dead, haunt and acid cloud (slow burn when I get it). Now, I'm fairly certain that attack speed simply increases the speed at which I can shoot poison darts, but is the base damage percent of the skill affected also? I currently find this very confusing, and I don't know if some spells get their damage percent multiplied by APS, or do dot spells apply their damage more rapidly with a higher attack speed, or what's the deal?
