some lightning bolt questions

Do lightning bolt's synergies boost the physical damage thats converted to lightning or just what lightning bolt adds on (ie 1-40 at lvl1)

Do the synergies boost damage added by arcing/shocking grand charms (ie adds 1-44 lightning damage to attack)

As far as I can tell that'll only apply to the added damage, not the converted.
