The game assets between the client and server do not match-You have been disconnected

Was playing multiplayer. Finished quest. Left game. Went to AH. Put some stuff up for auction. Bought a helmet. Moved helmet from AH to inventory.
Tried to "Resume" game. I get the above error message.
Tried join a public game. No problem. Joined and the helmet was in my stash.
Exited game.
Tried to "Resume" game. I get the above error message.

Anybody see this before?
