Hey Mal - regarding your Mojomancer. Are you allowing yourself to use skills from other tabs from staffmods? CE is pretty much out, but an effective/safe way to finish Act bosses is to use Iron Maiden and any golem (staffmod?) and just recast, since the bosses usually targets the golem first, which also allows the merc to survive. I just think it'll be tough going even with Life Tap against some bosses.

Regular monsters shouldn't be too bad, due to Dim Vision (semi-slow depending on weapon, but steady,) but I imagine the merc alone may not do too well against some of the bosses attacks. Life Tap works wonders here. My similar build (max DV, +CE+Golem) was using a non-eth Insight Polearm, so chances are, you'll get a partizan at least which is a big damage upgrade.
Also, NM was done at /players8, so the CE wasn't completely effective until /pl1 Hell.

Either way, I wouldn't mind hearing some progress on him now and again. See how your experience with a pure curses necro is.

Unless mal isn't using a merc, a merc would work to kill the bosses, since he would more than likely have more than one point in decriptify, which would slow the boss down, you could take on some cold or other slow. He could go commando and attack too. But, yeah, staffmods should work for him, since, there aren't any hard points
