Adding Friends

I've had a friend request from somebody, but it's an actual name, not a tag or anything so I've no idea who it is. Is there a way I can change this?

Change what? Change the 'name' to a 'tag'?

Seems pretty likely that it's from the SPF, so you might skim that thread to see if some has a 'name' and not a 'tag'.

Could it be that there are already spam bots sending out spam friend requests?

Before you know it, you'll be getting requests from Ch34P_C14L15, CutiePie95, and CaldeumPrinceWithBusinessProposal.

Not sure about being able to switch from a name to a tag. Before the beta ended, I got two friends requests from Facebook peeps, aka old RL friends, that were listed as their names and not their tag. Perhaps it's their Real ID that's being displayed... maybe there IS a way to switch that out.

If possible try to right click on the invite to see if you can send them a message. If not, well, there's probably no harm in adding them, THEN sending a message to see who it is.

If you accept the invite, you will see their nick as well as their name in the friend list. Adding someone with the e-mail address will make you Real ID friends and it only shows the person's real name in the invite, who knows why...

Are u adding people from SPF and MP-ing with them already?
How are you doing it?
It would be extremely nice if someone compile all the btags from SPF in one post/box with scrollbar like it happens in tournaments/pat-mat thread on D2SPF... That way it'll be easy to just ctrl+f names instead of using advance search.

PS: In fact, I kinda made a list and will sent the idea to Thy.
