Diablo 3 - No Druid Character - That is why the game flopped !der=

The review are out - Diablo 3 is a bust. Thousands of reviews are saying the game is junk even if you can get online. 80% of people can't get online. Wow! after all that beta testing and hype.
Diablo 3 is online only - BURN!

Main Reason: No Druid Character. Well that's probably just mine but I'm stickin' to it! LoL
Well - just my preference. It got 2/5 stars on over 900 reviews on Amazon. So I saved $60.
And I have a few Druid characters and nobody who shelled out $60 has 1. So my good!

Well, everyone else just says it's bad because it's plagued with bugs and the server is crashed so they only got a few minutes of playing after paying big $ for the game. But with a few months of IT work it may be a good game but now it seems it is not. Anyway, I don't buy games at midnight anyhow - who really does that anyway.

Well 6 million people did - heck of a payday for a flop. Despite thousands upon thousands upon thousands upon thousands upon thousands of requests for their money back - not a person has been graced with a single $1 refund. Oh well - so it is with not reading reviews first. Glad I did.

Do ya think I said thousands enough? or not enough? One more time - Thousands!

So keep that Druid and keep playing it - Diablo 2 must be better and has stood the test of time.

Classes change between titles, it's always been this way for these games and after 12 years it's about time they made some advancements to the playstyle of the Diablo series; remarkably enough, the game feels exactly like Diablo 2 to me, which is one of the best parts about the changeover between titles. You are not leaving room for expansions to bring in new characters to this game, i am sure that we will see some interesting ones to counteract those that we have lost so far.

The game is very, very good; I don't understand how it could be called a flop when so many people are online 24/7. I haven't had any connection issues since launch day now, I really recommend getting this game to anyone who is a fan of Diablo or Diablo 2.

I'm really really always wondeirng why those sites give so high credits to these games.. Diablo 3 & starcraft 2 have both been very, very boring games for me. Both games brought nothing new.. And in case of diablo 3, it simplified the whole system...

I was worried about d3 as i hate wow theres only 2 online games i rate lineage 2 and diablo series i am still addicted to diablo series 10-11 years in shapers to come surely in d3 expansion :-P barbs suck in inferno atm once gear is plentifull barbs ftw untill then ill lvl 1 of each class to 60 awroooooo

Diablo 2 was good when it came out and with the expansion it seemed better- lots better. Expansion LOD came out 4 years later? Something like that. I don't think that the graphics ect. have ever been up to date. I bought D2 about 9 months after it came out and it's just got great gameplay. Which is what I like the most in a game.

The D3 game and mechanics will need some work and in 9 months I may get one and think it's the best. The reviews are crazy. If it was anyone else who made it - bargain bin in 6 months. I think the reviews and magazines have faith in Blizz.
I go with - "You had 8 years to get this right!" What's up with that?

But let's face it. They had people who play Paladins Beta testing it. Fired them, and released it anyway. Live and Learn.

My biggest problem with D3 and Blizzard in general has to do with the mass bannings of Linux users for using WINE to play the game. Sorry, my choice of OS is not to be dictated by a gaming company, even if they are on the MS payroll. I'll stick to my D2, and never pay another penny to those ignorant spineless swine. And woe to them all if I ever finish my exokernel OS...

There is only 1 class from the original D2 that is playable in D3 - the barbarian. All other classes are gone. They have been substituted with classes such as Witch Doctor (a poor excuse for a Necromancer) Wizard,Monk,etc. I cannot recommend D3, the game is nothing like a traditional Diablo game.
