[OT] Holding Hands into the New Era

Hello everyone,

Hope the mods won't mind me posting this here however I recall when ETF first started for D2 we had similar topics trying to unite players. I understand there is a player match up forum but as Krischan has already noted, we need some people to get active here!

Anyway, I just wanted to see how much interest we can generate in these parts of the boards. I myself have been a big trader on the other ETF for a while now though like most others I have taken a few years break. I'm looking to get started again on these boards and there are many of us who are slowly crawling back into the vortex that is D3.

As it is much harder to join people together without a Public Chat ETF on D3, I'd like to just throw my battle tag out there for anyone else who is wanting to play together. I understand that many people will be looking to solo for a while, and I have done the same, but sooner or later down the line we are all going to meet up at one point.

So please, post a bit about yourself perhaps and lets try and create another success like D2 ETF.

EDIT: Noticed the 'post about yourself'. Well way back I was Herald of Doom, later HoD, now usually Herald. I'm from Belgium and I played a LOT of D2. I was also member of EuroPVP (decent BvA, BvC and BvB mediocre everything else) and I participated in the ETFonTop ladder effort. 'Sup guys!

Used to hang around quite a bit in the 1.09-1.10 ETF with this same nick.

I was part of ETF duel groups for a long time if I remember correctly, it's been a long time But yet I still recognize atleast Herald of Doom, I'm quite sure I did some business with you at some point. I rather not go with too much history because it's been so long since I was here, so I'll rather make new instead of riding with my non-existant merits. Even when I stopped playing D2 I still regularly checked ETF just to see what was happening. Now however, like most of you, I'm back for some more action in D3 and I'd love to be a part of the ETF community again. Haha, awesome! I still look back with nostalgia to the times when I was addicted to D2:LoD and the trading that went with it. That, and the fact that this in-game auction house is not the same as trading items vs items makes me pretty sure that this new ETF trading forum will grow busy soon enough!

Hello. I’m relatively new on ETF when looking at those join dates. But very enthusiast D2’er! Games come and go but D always stays; I started in 1998 with D1 demo and been online with LoD since 2004. And now D3… I can see some nice mileage ahead

I guess I “smell the corpses” on my own during normal, 1/3 of A3 done, but NM will definitely be time to suite and group up for me. The tag is skllvmt#2636.
