Graphics Glitch during Cinematics, Plz Help

Guys I get this graphics glitch when finishing a Act or part of a story that when the cinematic starts rolling, my screen starts doing different colors and changing shapes and eventually goes black as if I turn the monitor off, other than that the whole game will play fine for hours. No gameplay glitches of any kind, just during cinamatics.

Only way to fix this is to hard shutdown my comp and start it back up then its fine, I have a Nvidia 550TI card, fairly new. I updated all my drivers for it from Nvidias site and I am up to date as well as through Microsoft. I have this Silverlight (Important update) that Windows tells me to install but I am reluctant to.

The solution to the problem pretty much told me to check drivers and install new updates. Anyone else having this issue? Is there way to go about fixing this? I am not that knowledgable with computers, just basic stuff so if you have a solution, please explain it in detail. This sucks because as of now, I can play Diablo 3 but can't watch any cutscenes of any kind.

Have your tried windowed mode ? Just trying to pin point what the problem could be. When you installed the latest video card drivers, did you reset the settings ? Maybe you can try to reset to default.

Where do I reset the settings at? In the Nvidia control panel? No I did not reset anything nor did I try anything in windowed mode.

Also today after this post, I went in game and watched all the cinemtacs at login screen that I missed and played fine, and also played about hour and half and came up on one I had not seen and it played fine. Not sure if its the amount of time being on the game that is maybe causing a problem or what.

This is just insane because my computer was fine over a week ago playing skyrim for 12 hours + day and never a issue.

The thing that is bugging me is that it only affects cinematics. If you would have had artifacts in-game I would have suspected overheating or something like that, but since you are saying the game runs fine, it's weird...

Well its strange because now the game seems to be doing fine, I got to the end of Act 3 and watch several cinematics since then and seems to be fine. Thanks for the help anyways!
