Diablo III RIP: Our Fallen Friends
Death Certificate
Character name: Sharkey
Character level: 57
Character class: Barbarian
Character build: 1H and shield
Game difficulty: Hell
Act: Warriors rest/ Festering Woods Act 1
Death type: PvM
Cause of demise: Ran in for a quick kill of the bosspack that is in there (did the run a lot of times before) and engaged what turned out to be a pack with Arcane/ Horde/ Vortex mobs. Soon there was a lot of arcane beams of death spinning over the same area and fought a losing battle over 20-30 secs to get to the door, healing, stunning and leaping for the door, but getting pulled back in the pack each time until he finally died with the door in sight.

Diablo III RIP: Our Fallen Friends
Death Certificate
Character name: Jacobi
Character level: 58
Character class: Demon Hunter
Game difficulty: Hell
Act: A1, killin spiders
Death type: PvM
Cause of demise: TLDR; poorly timed disconnect.
My PC is such that the game starts to stutter very badly for a couple minutes every hour or so. Normally this isn't so bad as I can typically get a pause in before anything bad happens to me, but it has gotten me two close calls up till now. This time it froze right as I was approaching a unique spider; when the pause screen came up all looked fine... so I alt tabbed to wait it out like I always do. This time when I went to resume the game it said I had been disconnected which is abnormal, I've only seen that once before... I got back to the quest-joining screen, saw I was still alive, breathed a sigh of relief, and went to resume the game. At that point some error code popped up and my heart sank. Sure enough, when I pressed "switch hero" I saw a ghost on the list. C'est la vie.

Death Certificate
Character name: Linfea
Character level: 43
Character class: Demon huntress
Character build: Hand crossbow and quiver
Game difficulty: Nightmare
Act: Act 2, Belial
Death type: PvM
Cause of demise: Hesitation. For a milisecond. And then two green pools exploded near me while I was thinking if I should press that smoke screen.
The boss was at around 5%, had around 6k HP and 700 DPS, bun no shield, sadly. RIP

Diablo III RIP: Our Fallen Friends
Death Certificate
Character name: ZappaDontDie
Character level: 46
Character class: Mace/Shield
Character build: Cleave/Hammer (State the build type only)
Game difficulty: Nightmare
Act: Act II -The Black Soulstone
Death type: PvM
Cause of demise: Seemed to almost get stuck on something. I wasn't stunned but couldn't leap or move. Slow death to fire at my feet. I don't think I got a server disconnect because I potted once and that worked. Not sure. Waded into a pack a little more than I should have. I had been doing real well at fighting at the edges and not letting myself get surrounded.
Eschew obfuscation!

Character name: LickmyMantra
Character level: 31
Character class: Monk
Character build: Dual Wield Thunderclap
Game difficulty: Normal
Act: Wimsyshire (Pony Level)
Death type: Fail
Cause of demise: Probably my stupidest but funniest death yet. I had just completed normal with 2 friends and had farmed the mats so we decided to try the secret level. I entered killed a pink horse and thinking the entrance was clear began typing "just popping to town to stash the staff in case i die".
As I finished typing and looked up I saw my HP at 50% a Molten enchanted death explosion forming, tried to run but the explosion killed me. I never saw the little flowers and my friends just jumped in and nuked the pack sharpish. Needless to say that laughter on skype was hilarious. Funny enough that I wasnt even mad, and instantly rerolled another monk.

Diablo III RIP: Our Fallen Friends
Death Certificate
Character name: Storku
Character level: 57
Character class: Witch Doctor
Character build: Poison dart and CC
Game difficulty: Hell
Act: Act 2, at sewers heading towards Oasis
Death type: Got frozen by molten jailor frozen elites and then they threw additional orbs which all gathered around me in this tight corridor whereby 10 of them proceeded to explode and drop my health very quickly. Worst thing here is that is was preventable via spirit walk. I just wasn't fast enough... it won't happen again!!!
RIP Storku, StorkuII will avenge you and slay noxious guardians en masse.
