Diablo III RIP: Our Fallen Friends
Death Certificate
Character name: Pauge
Character level: 27
Character class: Demon Hunter
Character build: Duel Wield / Discipline
Game difficulty: Normal
Act: III Died at destroying the 1st cannon
Death type: PvM
Cause of demise: I got impatient defeating waves of monsters and decided to rush the cannon to take it down real fast. One of the land mind cluster monsters grappled me in, between the mines and being surrounded by Blazing Ghouls I died within a couple seconds. It happened so fast that I felt a little cheated out of my character.

Character name: Xoon(3)
Character level: 45
Character class: Wizard
Character build: Disintegrate
Game difficulty: NM
Act: 2
Death type: Elite Pack
Blurg. I had just reconfigured my skills for easier mouse use and thought I had practiced enough, but sure enough I see the pack and hit my old hydra button to put him right upin the middle of them but now that's teleport. That didn't kill me, but I guess those guys all exploded upon death, and I had lost enough life to where that knocked me out. Cripes. Might be time to take a good break.

Diablo III RIP: Our Fallen Friends
Death Certificate
Character name: Hache Menu
Character level: 60
Character class: Barbarian
Character build: Frenzy/Revenge/FuriousCharge
Game difficulty: Hell
Act: III
Death type: PvM
Cause of demise: I easily ran the bridge and defeated Siegebreaker so I wanted to finish Act III and reach Act IV before the 1.03 release. But I found it harder and harder thereafter, taking huge damage from normal packs (which never occured before !!!) and I had to escape several champions packs (almost dying each time). Alas, I was stubborn enough to keep on advancing until another champion pack sealed definitely my fate.
The son of "Hache Menu", "Waahooh", is already on his way to avenge his dead father ; only lvl 10 atm
The lesson of this : if it gets harder even with normal packs... STOP immediately and go UPDATE your gear or FARM in easier zones. Nearly dying to packs is a signal you are understuffed, don't advance anymore. Repeat one hundred times before playing HC.

Diablo III RIP: Our Fallen Friends
Death Certificate
Character name: Umbra
Character level: 60
Character class: Witch Doctor
Character build: Splinters
Game difficulty: Inferno
Act: Crypts in Act I
Death type: PvM
Cause of demise: An innocent-looking imp pack with Waller + Desecrator. Other affixes didn't matter. Stuck between a ton of walls with not one inch of room to move, desecration under your feet. Jaunt'd Spirit Walk and Spirit Vessel after that bought a lot of extra time but the walls just never disappeared. Never felt so helpless, WTB teleport.

Diablo III RIP: Our Fallen Friends
Death Certificate
Character name: Marillie
Character level: 44
Character class: Wizard
Character build: Link to build
Game difficulty: Nightmare
Act: Act 2 - Ruined Cistern
Death type: PvM
Cause of demise: Decided to replay the latter half of act 2 for exp and hoping for better loot before attempting Belial. Went to sewers, and behind the first corner there was a champ pack of frozen + molten swarms. Almost managed to nuke them down before they got to me, but then they pulled off a chain of freezes and I had to watch helplessly as my health slowly dropped to zero.

Diablo III RIP: Our Fallen Friends Death Certificate
Character name: Maxiam Character level: 48 Character class: Barbarian Character build: sword & board tank Game difficulty: Nightmare
Act 3 heart of sin type: PvM
Cause of demise: After clearing A2 with 2 wizards in a public game I steamrolled further in A3 confidently. Our grp was awesome and all knew what had to be done. Towards the heart of sin we encountered an elite pack of spiritbeasts. They were fast but with vengance & groundslam & ignore pain quite manageble. I saw a minion going for the wizard en I was tanking three. My computer froze. The screen didn't move and there was a sound like a broken record repeating a fragmented sound effect. I alt 4d but that didn't work. After stopping d3 via taskmanager I logged ìn to see that I died
