System Requirements, help a brr-other out?

Alright, my girlfriend and I aren't tech savvy but she's a gamer and wants to get D3. I don't think it'll run. Her system is a HP s5118f which as far as I know is a bit old and mostly for nongaming office use. Specs: http://bizsupport1.austin.hp.com/biz...odTypeId=12454

I ran it through http://www.systemrequirementslab.com and surprisingly it passed everything but the video card with flying colors. You Have: Intel(R) G33/G31 Express Chipset Family. So I guess she needs a video card. Her computer supports "PCI Express x16 graphics cards." Does she have any reasonable options? She does not need to be running at max, just acceptably playable (to be honest, I've noticed she has pretty low standards for framerates, etc). Obviously better is better but we're not looking to break the bank, what are her options?

Thanks in advance for any help!

The power supply seems to be only 220 watts, so that will limit her options when it comes to a graphics card. Upgrade the power supply first, or settle with a low to mid range graphics card.

If you decide not to upgrade the power supply, then you would probably only be able to install a graphics card that only requires power from the pci express slot. My only experience with a card like that is the ATI 4650 HD, but there are others as well.

I'm sorry if this message is short, I only have 5 mins to post this, but essentially you want a low profile video card that will fit in that slim case. Also, your power supply is 220Watts, so you need to keep that in mind, when you choose the video card it can't use more power than that. One of your cheap option would probably be a GeForce 210 or something like that.

Thumbs up Re: System Requirements, help a brr-other out?

Excellent advice so far, thanks! It looks like the Geforce 210 is inexpensive and would get her running on the low end of things so I'm probably going to go with that unless anyone else has a different suggestion to consider. The slim case and low wattage (I'd really rather not have to buy/install a PSU as well) are both pretty big constraints so this seems like it's probably the most sensible option. If anyone does have more ideas I will still be reading this thread.
