The armor is definitely an improvement. Resistances are still only 200-ish, but that's way better than 140-ish. I can tell there's a difference. I went ahead and took on Butcher with the Wizard. Killed him on the first try with no scary moments. Act 2 will probably be scary though...

Anywho, my poor Barb who is parked at the start of Inferno was the beneficiary of some farming.

    Spoiler

Not godly, but not at all bad either. A step in the right direction. The life drop was offset by an amulet I found. That piece isn't worth screenshotting, but it's way better than what it replaced.

Still got a ways to go in gearing up this Barb.

Seasonic is a good call. Corsair makes some nice PSUs too.

Antec PSUs are mostly decent. There have been a few dud models due to cheap capacitors, but they're still a pretty reliable brand.

This post is on topic because my Wizard busted her way into A2. Heh, it's a bit tougher than A1. But I took her as far as killing Maghda and decided to stop there. I wouldn't say that it was grindy. Kinda exhilarating actually. I still hate Lacuni with a passion though. Illusionist Mortar Reflect Damage Jailer sand wasps are a tad annoying as well.

I got this from a trash monster somewhere in the desert:

I have no idea whether this is decent or not. I don't have a Monk yet. DPS seems low, but tons of +dex and some life replenishing attributes. Might be OK.

Those gloves are godly actually. Very nice, congrats.

Those are kinda nice, but the DPS is just too low.

Found an Andy's visage this morning. Role was pretty bad, so not real special.

I'm actually not using it. :P My wizard's current belt is pretty nice, less damage, but much more safety. I'd post a screenshot, but I bought it on the GAH for 30k gold, so it doesn't belong here.

My Witch Doctor will likely use it once he levels enough.

Also, I like my tar, so it'll probably stay. I like to think of it as a premonition of things to come.

    @ the computer hardware subplot:

It's by no means end game gear or even perfect for his level, but my level 26 DH just found a rather nice rare ring. He'll probably use it for a while.

    Pathfinder's Signet
    36 Dex
    27 Int
    44 Vit
    17 life after each kill
    1 socket

I just got my barbarian to inferno, and here is one of his first few drops:

It's just what I need to try a Weapon Throw build...well, more damage or a rare with some nice mods would be good, but this should be good enough to try it out.

Edit: My barb found this from his first inferno treasure goblin (1 nv stack):

He was promptly smeared in to a thin paste by the next elite pack. While running to the elite pack from town, he was promptly smeared into a saucy goo by another elite pack. He can hurt them just fine, but he takes too much damage. Need to find some good armor. I guess I could try crafting....sigh.

Sigh Edit: Now he's found this:

Damn it, game. Give me armor!

A couple more interesting tidbits for my Barb.

    Spoiler

Her only source of life steal aside from Revenge. The other 3 mods on it aren't hurting either.

    And these bracers:
    Spoiler

Those resists are exactly what she needs. Overall, the loss of DPS and life is probably a good tradeoff. The only bummer is that some of the DPS loss is crit%. I'd gotten that up to 24 with a 163% damage bonus. But your DPS is 0 when you're dead, right?

WOW. That amulet is amazing! See, D3, this is what I'm talking about when I say "give me armor." The bracers are quite good too.

Edit: On topic: My barbarian found this the other day:

    Edit: Third "Legendary":

I got it while questing my witch doctor. I guess it'll just take up space in the stash?

    'Twas an interesting item-finding day.

Speaking of taking up space in the stash, I guess I'll start with...

    Spoiler

Viable for late Hell maybe. But if I wanted to finish Hell with a 2-hander, I'd borrow one from one of my enchantresses. They're all packing lots more heat than this. At least it has something unusual on it, Demon Damage. Unusual in D3 anyway.

I'll probably recycle it for Fiery Brimstone come 1.04. Speaking of which...

    Spoiler

    Yeah, finally got one.

But here's the really interesting piece.

    Spoiler

It's a Demolisher that has "Demolisher" in its name.

Oh. It also has +287 Int on it. That's a holy crapton. You can see what it does to my Wiz's DPS. The life loss is immaterial, really. She was already at 41K, then equipped a wand that had a bunch of +vit, so now she's back where she started but with nearly 3.2K more DPS.

I need to push further into A2, and I'd already pegged Ms. Wiz as the official pusher, so this is good.

Might be a while before this one gets replaced... it's kinda spartan, but I'm not in a place where I get to be very fickle.
