Maybe not. I'm playing without a video cardand act 1 had the same usual "lag spots". 01am->8am PSD I had an ok gaming experience on low settings. After 8am PSD things started to get a little unconfortable on some act 2 places (won't go in detail now, since some people haven't played yet), but I'm sure some elements don't really liked my no-video-card plan...
RL: Nadda
D3: Nope. Fighting the urge to go buy it but then I read about issues even playing calms that urge. Sorry folks that are having issues.
D2: Yes. Amazon needs to progress.
OVG: Maybe some WoW. Debating on upgrading to full this coming weekend. Not completely sold on it yet.
RL: Work schedule gives me mondays and tuesdays off, which left time nicely fo:
D3: So pretty much played it from 1100 till 2100, though mostly rerunning various parts of Act I, due to hopping in to play with several buddies over the course of the day. Then my fun was cut "short" by a disconnect and inability relogin due to the ****storm the servers are under right now. Hopefully dipping in to Act 2 tomorrow if work hours and Blizzard servers permit.
RL: Meh.
D2: started a new poisonmancer.
D3: Not until they fix all the kinks (oh about 2-3 months from now or so?)
OVG: Brood War.
If the fan is annoying you pick up a "coolermaster hyper212 evo" heatsink / fan (for the CPU). It is a little annoying to install if you have everything already in the case, but I guarantee it will run quiter / cooler then the boxed heat sink.
I generally have around the 230 to 270ms latency (in Aus). When I was playing the beta it was perfectly fine and I played for around 2 hours (between 7pm and 9pm Adelaide time) with no issue at all.
