Hello my old friends and compadree's!

I'm back after, erm, a nine month holiday?! Gee, doesn't time fly when your not playing D2?
So, what have I been doing since achieving level 99 with my Pally? Plenty. Firstly game wise, well I've been playing;

- Titan quest. Got four characters thru to end game in hell difficulty. Ice shard druid, Warefare/defence, warfare dual wield/spirit & Hunting/nature bow shooter)
- Mass effect 1,2 & 3. I, am, KROGAN!!! Lol.
- HellGate london. Dabbled a bit. Got two characters up to level 35 odd.
- Need for speed. Hot pursuit, underground, good fun crashing exotic cars at 300kmh+
- Portal. Love getting thru this game every now and then.

Diablo 3.

To be honest, I know very little about the game apart from the obvious 5 characters, release date and online only thing. Still, It seems appropriate to me to buy so i've pre ordered a collectors edition. I'll play and give it a shot. I am deliberately avoiding reading anything about the game, this is I hope, should help myself enjoy the game as a relative "virgin" so I can enjoy discovering everything for myself.

Diablo 2.

Basically the day I hit level 99 with my pally, I haven't fired up D2 for months untill about two weeks ago I had a bit of a look see at some characters and a quick five minute game here and there. Amazing how antiquated the game looks after months of high def eye candy from later games and the Xbox 360.
The biggest surprise was when I cranked up Gomule and looked at my stashes and the items that I mindlessly dumped in there from my pally. Not too many unique/set items thanks to the 0% mf, but the runes...... A quick calculation revealed that there was enough runes to cube up to a Ber or even a Cham. I broke out some Gems and the cube and yep, cubed up a Ber and change.
That was a bit of a surprise. I never looked at my Rune stash, apart from noting the item count, 160 odd runes. But when I scrolled thru them and noticed multiple Ist's, Vex's, Gul's, etc, well gee.
So I spent a couple of weeks wondering what to do with them. Only two choices really. Infinity or CoH. But I think i'll go with Chains of Honor. Useful to my current project a Hydress and useful to my Eletemplar too and a couple of other characters not doubt. I am still a bit short for the Infinity and I don't want to wait untill I find the rune value I need.

So i'll be back into playing D2 again soon I think. First thing I'll be doing is grabbing four particular runes and my best 4 socket Archon plate. Then I'll be deciding what to do with it first. Diablo Sanctuary runs or Aussie bbq Hydra time!

Hello old man! I didn't post much or at all when you got to 99. Was this the schaefferdin I read about many months ago? I can't remember.

Anyway, good luck with your new plans! I made CoH before Infinity, too, but that's because I wanted a pally with it for resistances and such, and Exile if that's the name of the shield thing.

Heya, As! Good to see you back among the fold. I was going to compliment your appearance, saying something about how your skin looks healthier... but since three of those five game franchises you mentioned are soul-sucking time-wasters, I'd venture a guess that you're paler than ever.

...So good on you for that!

Don't know if you've noticed there's a recently created D3 SPF forum, so if you find yourself enjoying the game then we'd love to have you popping in over there, too.

Hope your SPF/D2 hiatus has made you want to stick around all the more, mate. See ya 'round!!

I know a little more thanks to the Beta, but other than that I have tried to protect my "cherry"

I did see that. My collectors edition of D3 just arrived so the D# SPF forum will defientely see myself popping in very shortly.
