Times: Varies. I'm studying for an entrance exam (or will get back to doing that after taking three or four days off to play with this new toy). So I probably won't play a ton over the next few months. After that, I'll be able to hop on whenever I feel like it for the rest of the year. Probably evenings EST, mostly.

Region: US? If there's a specific server I'm tired enough at the moment I'm missing where it's listed. North America East I suppose?

I was skeptical about whether I wanted to do a HC character or not. I played diablo 2 SC a long time before doing it on hardcore to to say I had. I think it ended up frustrating much more than not. But I just played that off line too, and I think the HC community is probably one of the best things it has going for it, so I decided I'd give it a shot at least. My HC charachter is a Wizard(ess), just level 11 for now. I plan on going through normal probably mostly solo, just so I can take all the time I want to wander around, talk to random npc's, and enjoy the story.

I also want to see what multiplayer is like on soft core first I think, since I really have no clue, and don't want to plunge into it and die right off the bat. I have a monk I'm slowly working on in single player as well for that purpose (although I might give up and redo her on HC too.... It'd be super-annoying to get a fun drop on her one day and not be able to share it in my stash).

Anyways, I definitely wandered off the simple topic here. I guess I'm just excited and wanted to say hi to you all. I don't know any of the old D2 HC players from here, although some of you guys have given me lots of helpful advice on that game since I joined the forum, so I'm looking forward to maybe actually playing with a few of you some day now that I have the chance.
