Do mighty weapons have longer reach than normal wepaons?der=0>

Hi guys I am not sure if this topic has been analyzed, but I am curious, because logically mighty weapons should have a longer reach, since they can only be carried by barbarians due to their size, furthermore I did watch some gameplay videos where the barb was using a two-handed mighty weapon, where it seemed like it had a longer reach, but I could be wrong.

Does anyone have proof/experience, that mighty weapons have a longer reach?

I used some of those hand scythes in the beta and thought their reach was pretty short. But I think the two-handed swords and axes I found did have good reach. They weren't "mighty" though, as I recall. I think they were "sword" and "axe."

I think all weapons have the same reach regardless. If any have a bigger AOE it be the 2handers, but this again is doubtful.

I think it was already mentioned somewhere that in D3 all weapons have the same reach because Blizzard didn't want to favor certain weapon types and struggle finding ways to keep them balanced even when they have different reach.

The melee range is 8 yards in D3, regardless of weapon.
