What to put on Reaper's Tool socket (not for merc, for polebarb)? IAS?

So, I'm working on my last pat before d3. A Delirium Polebarb. I plan to use a reaper's found by my hammerdin but I don't know if I socket it or not.

Gear: Mostly of my gear is rare stuff with resists, a crafted glove with 3LL/10CB and a barb delirium with +2BO and a Lionheart armor (merc is using Treachery, Insight and Tal mask). I plan to use Reapers as soon as I reach lvl 75 on nm (70 as we speak).

Build: Whirlwind, Concentrate, Polearm mastery, usual stuff (BO, etc.)

Question: What to put on reaper's socket?

- Shael
- PSkull (for mana leech, focusing rings/ammy solely on resists)
- 30% ED Jewel

I'm in doubt because, iirc, whirlbarbs don't need a lot of IAS. Weel, I have no IAS on gear

Should I use treachery + shael, treachery + ED Jewel or just the ED jewel and forget about IAS?
(Note: I'm not taking future builds really in consideration - reason I made a barb delirium - since after d3 I plan only a lot of mf sorc action, possibly exception is trav barb when/if Lo shows up.)

Edit: I was mistaken. Gear IAS isn't important for whirlwind, but I can use the 20 weapon IAS. Anyway, it's necessary?

The Reaper's Toll has no innate IAS, and for whirlwind with a thresher, the attack is 8fpa. The next breakpoint is at 17% WIAS according to the German speed calculator, so a plain ???? jewel of Fervor won't be enough. So that means you want a Shael, which will improve things to 6fpa, at least if my understanding is correct.

I'm usually a big Treachery advocate, but for a whirling barb, the IAS on Treachery goes to waste.

If you are set on a polebarb, you may be happier with something with better weapon IAS, though.

Also, for Delerium, remember that to transform back to a barb you can TP to town, then WP to another act and back, which is usually quicker than waiting for the fetish transformation to wear off.

I'm using Insight Tresher and finished nm. I was planning to use delirium + reaper's but realized it doesn't work well in theory (the tons of efects from delirium will override the decrepify). I switched to tal mask, since I could use +resists and mana leech (mostly ML, since it only gives ~+5 all res due to the -2 all skills that includes to -2 nature resistances).

There are better poles out there, but I only have Insight and Reaper's. hadn't I restart I would have a cham for doom, but I restarted. On the other hand, I always wanted a polebarb using reaper's (it's an old project I'm trying to finish before d3), I let delirium go. I had my share of fetish transformation levelling on nm. Probably I'll end up respec-ing this barb if I find a Lo, just to remake the sword-barb council runner I had before restart (I have crazy plans - like grail + runeword grail before dying from old age - it would take an insane amount of time, more than the "usual", since I'll play d3 as well).

I'll just add a socket on reaper's and put a shael on it. Merc won't lose his armor... Iirc, I patted a non-amazon char before using lionheart. I hope I did, or I'll have some trouble tomorrow, since I have no high def armor, no base for the armors I like to use on melee chars (Duress, Stone, Fortitude, etc.), no HRs...
