Wording is:
You inflict an additional 25% damage while at maximum Fury.
Do you think it may be +25% on used skill or *25% additional?
Edit
As Battle Rage is worded:
Enter a rage which increases damage by 15% and Critical Hit Chance by 3% for 30 seconds.

I'd say it's probably additional and not multiplicative. The latter would seem greatly OP.
If you add it to, say, strength or skill ed, it would almost disappear, and having to stay at max fury to gain that benefit restricts your build quite a bit. I think most abilities like this are multiplicative (maybe not with each other; we'll see about that). IE, weapon damage*skill ED*strength ED*berserker rage.
Only way it even makes sense it that it adds *1.25 which probably is additive with effects such as weapon mastery, battle rage or insanity WotB.
Well my way of thinking is that it gives more significant boost to those less significant skills.
So making for example basic bash damage increase from 150% to 175%, or frenzy 110% up to 135% or Rend 210% up to 235%.
It would be then multiplied by straight and all and make dome difference, don't you think?
That just seems very unlikely.
imo the thing about % additional dmg vs % wpn dmg is that % additional dmg could apply after wpn dmg is calculated.
So for example, let's say the avg. wpn dmg is 100 and the skill we're using does 200% wpn dmg. With all stats aside, the skill would do 200 dmg on hit.
Now if there's a rune that adds 25% additional wpn dmg., then that means, to me, the skill dmg is simply bumped to 225%. Therefore the dmg output would look like 100(200%) + 100(25%) = 225
Now if we're to have 25% additional dmg instead of wpn dmg., then it may apply after the dmg output. So it may look something like this:
100(200%) + 100(200%)(25%) = 250 dmg output.
So Battle Rage's increase 15% dmg would be like 100(200%) + 100(200%)(15%) = 230 dmg
At least this is how I see it without experiencing it in the beta.
Now that the game is out, can someone clarify us a bit about this damage calculations?
I am interested in this as well. along with WotB Insanity +100% and Weapon masters +15% sword/dagger damage.
The only one that it would make a major difference with is earthquake though, our mega damage skill.
Only earthquake? What about Hammer being not 250% but 500% with WotB with insanity? What about ancients doing 400% Dmg with their specials? About Revenge doing 440%? Think that if Wotb Insanity is calculated this way, its IMBA.
