The idéa of secret builds, not viewable to others is great.
But this could be improved alot into something fantastic!
Compare to how sharing on Youtube works.
I would like to have these options.
1) Public build, visible to all, shows up in search results etc.
2) Private build, only visible to me, does not show up anywhere, only I can look at it.
3) Unlisted build, does not show up in searches or any public lists. To see this build you need to know the exact URL to go directly to the build. This will be ESSENTIAL for PvP and competitive PvE (rushing etc) where teams only want their team mates to look at their build, so they share the URL with their team mates and they can see it.
This also requires that you change how you build the URL of each build. You can not simply have a counter that adds att the end of the "base" URL. (Too easy to just change the last number and "scroll" through all builds.)
Each build must have a random "suffix" to the base URL.
The "privacy" functions can be managed when you access an individual build by 3 radio buttons (where only 1 can be selected), or a dropdown listbox etc. (I figure you know what I mean.) It could also be managed from the list of saved builds if you can turn that column into a listbox column. (You don't want to have 3 new column just for this.)
If you implement this you should add one more column to the list of saved builds, where you show the "Privacy" status for each of your builds. Column "Privacy" with values "Private", "Public", "Unlisted".
The current solution, that you can not name your build if you want to have it private is awkward. I can end up with 10 builds all called ""Double Click to Name" in my list of builds. And I want to share them with my guild and PvP friends, no one else.

Very true. The idea I believe will be a password you'd share or maybe even a permission list (add users to the allowed list)
Or I have to start making hashes for the url
No password please for unlisted builds, no no. Will demand ALOT of work for guilds wanting to share builds. For large guilds it will be a struggle to keep track of all passwords, in reality all will set passowords like "1234" or guild name for all builds to make it work practically. Not much added security that way, and will force alot of administration.
And no member list please, no no. I will be forced to admin all my builds, setting permissions for all my 23 guild mates. And every time we get a new member I must administrate all my builds again, just so our new member can see it. Will be a real struggle to work with. And all 24 members in my guilds will have to spend time doing this.
Random URL and knowledge of the URL is cleary the best option if you ask me.
Sufficient and easy to work with. Then I just post the link in my private guild and all members can see my unlisted build, and copy it to their own list of builds to try and improve it etc.
Maybe, I was thinking things like a guild list for a site then you can say "guild access only" etc
This are just ideas thrown about. I've not given it much thought right now.
